The frequency of inspection depends on the type of pipe, operating conditions and applicable regulations. Generally, it is recommended:
- Transportation pipelines (gas and oil): Every 3 to 5 years, according to API 570.
- Piping in process plants: According to the risk-based maintenance program (RBI – API 580 and API 581).
- Critical or high-risk infrastructure: Every 1 to 3 years, depending on the level of corrosion and criticality of the asset.

Yes, like any Non Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment, the Eddify FOCUS+ must be calibrated periodically to ensure the accuracy of the measurements and the reliability of the data obtained.
This equipment incorporates Multi-Mode™ technology and torque modules, allowing for greater sensitivity in flaw detection and more accurate assessment of structural integrity in hard-to-reach pipelines.
