Servicio de Inspección por
Emisión Acústica de Válvulas
Integrity and tightness diagnosis in control systems.
Ensures safe operation of valves in conveyor lines and stations with advanced acoustic emission inspection technology.
Fugas y fallas en válvulas
- Internal leaks and pressure losses.
- Pollution and environmental risk.
- Unexpected failures in critical systems.
- High maintenance costs and downtime.
Industrial valves play a crucial role in regulating the flow of fluids and gases in conveyor systems. Over time, their degradation can go unnoticed, leading to inefficiencies, safety risks and loss of resources.
Late inspection can lead to unexpected failures, generating downtime and high operating costs. Implementing a predictive maintenance strategy and advanced detection technologies is key to ensure operational continuity and avoid costly interruptions.
Inspección por Emisión Acústica
para una detección precisa
We use the spotWave 201a robust AE measurement equipment with high-precision technology. This allows us to offer:
- Diagnosis of sectioning, control, check and safety valves.
- Small, light and easy to handle equipment for valves that are difficult to access in terms of location or structure.
- Verification of internal tightness without the need for uninstallation.
- Evaluation of the structural condition of the valves in service.
- Analysis with advanced equipment and piezoelectric sensors.

Resuelve tus dudas sobre la inspección por emisión acústica de válvulas
We recommend to inspect annually or according to the preventive maintenance plan.
No, it is a non-intrusive technique that allows on-line diagnosis.
SpotWave 201 is a portable and rugged single-channel Acoustic Emission (AE) measurement unit that can be controlled by laptops, tablets, smartphones or IoT devices. It complies with the European Standard EN 13477-1, allowing acoustic impact data to be acquired and processed and transient waveforms to be recorded for advanced analysis.
The device uses SpotWave software, which saves data in pridb and tradb formats, compatible with the Vallen AMSY-6 multichannel AE system. This allows data analysis with the same tool used in advanced monitoring systems.
The Coupling Check Transmitter (CCT) allows:
- Reliably verify the coupling of the AE sensor.
- Measure the speed of sound in a structure.
- Function as an alternative to the HSU-Nielson source.
This equipment is ideal for:
- Leak detection in valves and pipes.
- Monitoring of hot spots in structures and machinery.
- AE baseline assessment for structural control.
- Measurements of wave propagation in materials.
- Acoustic emission investigations in various industries.
- Passive piezoelectric sensor with peak resonance at 150 kHz.
- Suitable for almost all Acoustic Emission (AE) applications.
- Specially recommended for integrity inspection of metallic pressure vessels.
- Low frequency AE sensor, ideal for monitoring large objects or highly attenuating materials.
- Main applications:
- Corrosion and leak detection in tank bottoms.
- Pipeline leakage monitoring.
- Partial discharge detection in electrical systems.
- Integrity testing of concrete structures.
- May lose 6 dB of sensitivity if used with a 1.2 m cable length instead of 0.3 m.
