Risk reassessment is the continuous process of reviewing and updating asset risk models, taking into account new operational data, inspection results and changes in the operating environment. It is essential to do it periodically or when significant changes occur in the operation, such as process modifications, the acquisition of new assets or regulatory changes.
Risk assessment methodologies include probabilistic models, risk indices and indexing models such as Muhlbauer, which are used to assess the probability of asset failures and their potential impact. International standards such as API 580/581 are also used to ensure that assessments are aligned with the best industry standards.
Risk reporting is customized to the operational and regulatory needs of each company. This includes the configuration of risk parameters, the selection of key performance indicators (KPIs), and the integration of data from different sources, such as IoT sensors, inspection reports and geospatial analysis.
