The TCS Compact Current Interrupter is a load-breaking device developed exclusively as a diagnostic tool for evaluating cathodic protection systems. Unlike fixed system components, this interrupter allows the inspector to execute time cycles (ON/OFF) with millisecond precision to obtain instantaneous potentials. Its “All-in-One” design integrates the power unit and GPS controller into a single chassis, drastically simplifying logistical deployment during extensive inspection campaigns.

Methodology and Traceability

The Compact Interrupter integrates a compensation system for switching delay (0–50 ms) and programmable offsets of ±10 s, enabling full synchronization with third-party equipment. The entire operation is auditable thanks to the event log, which includes timestamps and alarm severity, ensuring that corrosion studies are accurate and repeatable.
